Liz is a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate and is in process to become a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist Candidate. Her training emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship and the innate desire and fundamental need for human relatedness. We all want to belong—we all need to belong. Aside from a highly relational approach, Liz utilizes an Attachment informed Narrative approach-meaning that our sense of who we are comes from the stories we remember and tell. Our stories need a witness.

Liz’s unique upbringing in East and Southeast Asia has provided a broad cultural perspective on how relationships are governed by biopsychosocial-spiritual aspects. It has also facilitated within Liz a vibrant curiosity about the stories of others. Our culture and story are intimately bound together.

Liz spent most of her adult life in the Southeastern United States. In her free time Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and reading Wendell Berry or Classic fiction.
