Megan is a trained mental health therapist with specific experience working with addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety, dissociation, and a variety of other issues with adolescents, adults and in groups. Megan is certified as an affiliate Sex Offender Treatment Provider and enjoys working with clients to understand maladaptive behaviors and learn how to correct and change behaviors which can be harmful. In addition to counseling and clinical work as a mental health therapist, Megan has experience working as a substance abuse counselor for addictions treatment with adolescents and adults from all walks of life. Megan is a certified Level One therapist with Internal Family Systems Therapy which is an approach to psychotherapy that values empowerment of individuals and a connection to our inner self.
Megan seeks to create a warm, safe environment based on trust and respect to build a transformative relationship in which healing can occur. Megan is passionate about helping people utilize the strengths they have internally and learning how to explore living a healthy, balanced life. In addition to her educational experience and training with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of psychotherapy, she brings other approaches, skills, training and experience to her work with clients. Megan values the mind, body, spirit connection and utilizes a biopsychosocial-spiritual approach to working each individual she encounters.
